One-Way
Video
Course originates in a studio classroom and is received at other USF
campuses (or specified off-campus locations) at the same time or on
a tape-delayed basis. This format allows two-way audio, one-way video
communication between originating and receiving sites. |

Telecourse
Telecourses or tape-delayed classes broadcast on WUSF-TV and the Education
Channel (for Time-Warner Cable subscribers) and other outlets. Those
receiving the appropriate public or cable channels can view these
courses at home. Some may require minimal campus attendance. |

Videoconference
Videoconferencing is an interactive process that allows students and
faculty to see and hear each other at multiple locations in real-time.
Locations include all four USF campuses and selected community sites. |

Videotape
Course available on videotape only NOT broadcast. Check course
details for scheduled videotape viewing times on campus(es). Videotapes
may also be available from other sources such as libraries or rental. |

Audiocassette
Course available on audiotape only. Tape series available for purchase
in USF Tampa Campus Bookstore. |
