Alternative calendar
courses offer students shorter term options or non-traditional attendance
schedules, such as Saturday attendance, or blended web+face-to-face
options which may fit well with the schedules of adults balancing careers
and families. Alternative calendar courses are listed in the Oasis schedule
of classes with specific start and end dates provided;
choose Alternative Calendar from the semester selection in
the drop down box when searching the
Schedule of
Classes
in OASIS.
Distance Learning classes
may be completely online, offering true “anytime, anyplace” options, or may
require some face-to-face meetings on campus. The courses listed in the
distance learning catalog are provided as a guide, and
course offerings per semester may be subject to change.

during the semester you wish to take it. You may also contact the department offering
the class for the course syllabus, information regarding any on campus
meetings, permits, or for other information. Classes offered over the Summer Semester
meet USF's summer attendance requirement. Contact your advisor to find out
if distance learning is a good fit for your academic program.
